Attleboro Executive to Chair Associated Industries of Massachusetts.

, is expected to be elected the 47th Chairman of Associated Industries of Massachusetts (A.I.M.), at the association's 91st Annual Meeting on Friday, May 12 at the Westin Hotel, Waltham.

Established in 1915, A.I.M. is the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan association of Massachusetts employers with more than 7,600 members who collectively employ more than 675,000 employees. A.I.M.'s mission is to promote the well-being of its members and their employees and the prosperity of the Commonwealth by improving the economic climate of Massachusetts; proactively advocating fair and equitable public policy; and providing relevant, reliable information and excellent services.

The business within TI was renamed Sensors & Controls in 2000, and was purchased from TI by Bain Capital Bain Capital LLC is a Boston, Massachusetts-based private equity firm founded in 1984 by Mitt Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts, and two other partners from the consulting firm Bain & Company: T. Coleman Andrews III and Eric Kriss.  in April of 2006.

Hodgett, Director-Community and Government Relations, The Procter & Gamble Company, Gillette Business Unit, Boston; Ted MacLean, General Manger-Northeast District, Microsoft Corporation, Waltham; and Joseph T. O'Leary, Jr., Regional Executive-Corporate Banking, Sovereign Bank, Boston.
