    --   Reducing brain lesion area and activity

    --   Delaying disability

         MS is a chronic, progressive condition of the central nervous
         system and is the most common neurological disease causing
         disability in young adults. The complexity and progressive
         nature of the MS disease pathway requires disease-modifying
         therapies that can prevent symptoms immediately while
         delaying long-term disability.
