When AVIOS (founded as the Applied Voice Input/Output Society) and SpeechTEK first began collaborating in 2002 the result was an extensive expansion of a conference that AVIOS had sponsored for the previous 21 years. With the addition this year of Bill Meisel's Telephony Voice User Interface conference (TVUI), the 2005 edition of SpeechTEK West continues its growth as the West Coast's longest running speech technology conference.

TVUI at SpeechTEK West

Bill Meisel's TVUI conference focuses on the practical opportunities speech technology creates for call centers, telephone service providers and internal company operations using the telephone. Meisel, one of the speech technology and telephony industry's best-known independent analysts and consultants, is managing two tracks at SpeechTEK West bringing the same attention to content, continuity and effective learning techniques that TVUI has always emphasized as a stand alone event.
