Attacks in last four months.

1AN Asian businessman was blasted three times after being targeted by a mystery gunman. The 44-year-old was driving along Park Street, Handsworth, on December 20 last year when his car was shunted from behind.

He was shot when he got out of his vehicle to check the damage.

2 ASSAR Joseph Mohammed Tomlinson was shot dead during an argument outside the King of the Road pub, in Hospital Street, Newtown, on December 23 last year. The 33-year-old victim was hit in the chest. He had been shot previously outside a Kings Norton club last September.

3 FOUR days later Leon Francis, 24, was stabbed to death outside a social club in Victoria Road, in Aston, in the early hours of December 27. A man has appeared in court charged with his murder and remanded in custody.

4 A man of 30 was blasted in the leg as he walked along Shenstone Road, Smethwick, on January 14.

The two offenders were described as Asian men in their 30s.

5 ON February 15, gunmen burst into a crowded private room at the Lazeez Signature restaurant in the Mailbox shopping centre spraying the room with up to 15 shots. No one was injured.

6 A 20-year-old man was critically wounded when a gunman opened fire on him as he stood in a video store on Alum Rock Road, Washwood Heath, at 11pm on February 23. A man, also aged 20 and from Bordesley Green, was later charged with attempted murder.

7 Nehemiah Bryce was gunned down in the street in Birmingham on March 16. The 27-year-old, from Winson Green, was found fatally wounded in an alleyway off New Croft, in Newtown, and later died in hospital.

Police believe he was deliberately targeted.

8 Two men, aged 24 and 28, were found with gunshot wounds inside a property in Trinity Road, Aston, after gunmen burst in and opened fire shortly after 9pm last Friday.
