Attack man kept in custody.


A NORTH Wales North Wales (known in some archaic texts as Northgalis) is the northernmost unofficial region of Wales, bordered to the south by Mid Wales and to the east by England.  man was yesterday remanded in custody for allegedly attacking a squatter with a stick while he slept.

John Damon Gizzi was charged with assaulting Leslie Glyn Owens with a wooden table leg, dragging him down two flights of stairs and turfing him out of a cafe owned by his father Johnny.

Prestatyn Magistrates Court yesterday heard the incident was alleged to have taken place at 10.45pm on March 23.

Gizzi, 33, of Breswylfa Hall, St Asaph St Asaph (Welsh: Llanelwy) is a town in North Wales on the River Elwy. It has a population of 3,491 (Census 2001).
