Attack From Latest E-Mail Virus Thwarted by Control Data.


ARDEN HILLS, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 1999--

Control Data's quick response shut down the threat of the latest E-mail-borne virus to its worldwide messaging customers. The company's software patch detects the virus, called W32/ExploreZip.worm worm, common name for various unrelated invertebrate animals with soft, often long and slender bodies. Members of the phylum Platyhelminthes, or the flatworms, are the most primitive; they are generally small and flat-bodied and include the free-living planarians (of , as it enters the messaging server as E-mail, isolating i·so·late
