Attachmate Corporation, the leading provider of host access management, today announced a partnership with AverStar, Inc., a leading provider of software and solutions for critical systems of government and commercial customers.

The partnership will allow Federal IT managers to leverage their existing mission-critical systems by extending host data to the browser.

Attachmate selected AverStar as its preferred services provider for the Federal market. The partnership provides Federal customers with total Web-to-enterprise solutions, including Attachmate(R) Host Publishing System, a development tool for custom Web-to-host applications. With this technology, systems can be individually expanded and enhanced to meet the changing needs of the enterprise as new users gain access to host data, and to assimilate rapidly evolving technologies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
