Attachmate Names David Bennett Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Bennett to Head International Sales and Marketing Activities.

Attachmate Corporation announced today the appointment of David Bennett as vice president of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Bennett will manage all sales and marketing business efforts in these regions, and will be based equally out of Corporate headquarters in Bellevue, Washington Bellevue is a rapidly growing city in King County, Washington, U.S., across Lake Washington from Seattle. Long known as a suburb or satellite city of Seattle,[1] it is now categorized as an edge city or a boomburb.  and the Attachmate(R) London office.

Bennett brings 20 years of international business experience to his new position. In his most recent position, Bennett moved to the US from his London home to be the vice president of corporate strategy for FileNET, based out of Kirkland, Washington Kirkland is a city in King County, Washington, United States. It is a suburb of Seattle located on the Eastside (of Lake Washington). As of April 1, 2005, the city had an estimated population of 45,740, making Kirkland the eighth largest city in King County and the eighteenth . His unique perspective from living abroad and a career made from world travel makes his global view of business a great asset to Attachmate.
