He succeeds Yasuo "George" Tanaka, who has been appointed Chairman, a new position. Tanaka has led the company since 1998.

Yoneda was appointed Executive Vice President of the company in 2001 and Senior Executive Vice President in 2003. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. that distributes equipment, consumables and technical services to the graphic communications industry communications industry, broadly defined, the business of conveying information. Tanaka joined Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., Fujifilm USA's parent company, in 1963 and serves on the Board of Directors as Senior Vice President, Representative Director. Yoneda joined the parent company in 1965 and serves as a Corporate Vice President.

Both executives are married with grown children and live in Westchester County, NY.
