Atria Senior Quarters opens new senior residence in Kew Gardens.

The heart has four chambers. The right and left atria are at the top of the heart and receive returning blood from the veins. The right and left ventricles are at the bottom of the heart and act as the body's main pumps.
 Senior Quarters and Levine Builders, Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens is located at 117-01 84th Avenue. The nine-story building received the Queens Chamber of Commerce 1998 Building Award, given for a building's contribution to the Queens landscape.

Located in a residential neighborhood just off Lefferts Boulevard and close to Metropolitan Avenue, Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens is convenient to all shopping and many houses of worship, as well as to the Long Island Railroad.

"Mayor Giuliani's efforts to make our neighborhoods cleaner and safer have encouraged private developers to build much needed housing," said Commissioner Roberts. "The Department of Housing Preservation and Development has also adapted its 421-a Partial Tax Exemption tax exemption, immunity from the requirement of paying taxes. Federal, state, and usually local law provide exemption from taxation for a wide variety of organizations, usually not-for-profit, such as churches, colleges, universities, health care providers, various  Program to stimulate the construction of additional facilities where seniors can live prosperous and independent lives."

Residents at Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens can choose from a host of beautifully furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments with private bathrooms, European-style kitchens, intercom systems, individually controlled heat and air-conditioning, emergency call cords, and ample closet space. Three Kosher meals are served in elegant dining rooms where residents are able to socialize so·cial·ize

Senior Quarters is well known for its diverse social and recreational programs, which include fitness classes, concerts, painting classes, a cooking club, games, religious services, and frequent special outings and shopping trips.
