AtomFilms Launches Animation Kingdom ''Plymptonia''; AtomFilms Secures Exclusive Rights to Bill Plympton's Award-winning Animation Catalog.


SEATTLE--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Nov. 23, 1999--

AtomFilms (www.atomfilms.com), the pioneer and recognized leader in next-generation entertainment, today announced its recent acquisition of Bill Plympton's animation catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library. Assurbanipal's library at Nineveh was cataloged on shelves of slate. The first known subject catalog was compiled by Callimachus at the Alexandrian Library in the 3d cent. B.C.  for worldwide distribution both online and offline.

AtomFilms will promote Plympton's content via its newly created fan site "Plymptonia" (www.plympton.atomfilms.com), an animation site featuring dozens of Plympton's classic titles, exclusive interviews, downloadable content, and unique interactive features for the AtomFilms online community. Plymptonia marks the first in a series of highly interactive fan sites built specifically for the AtomFilms Web site.
