AtoFina Makes First Large Runs of mPP Random Copolymers.

Houston-based Atofina Petrochemicals, Inc. has made its first two commercial-scale runs of polypropylene random copolymers with metallocene catalyst Metallocene catalyst

at LaPorte, Texas. These developmental mPP copolymers range in melting point melting point, temperature at which a substance changes its state from solid to liquid. Under standard atmospheric pressure different pure crystalline solids will each melt at a different specific temperature; thus melting point is a characteristic of a substance and  from 257 to 282 F and MFR MFR,

The mPP random copolymers are said to exhibit excellent optical properties for injection molding injection molding
