However, Atmos Energy field employees continue to be available to assist our customers in emergency situations. Atmos Energy employees will return to our office locations in Louisiana and eastern Mississippi as soon as possible, where we will continue to provide vital services to our customers." More than 900 employees provide natural gas for Atmos Energy customers in Louisiana and Mississippi. Atmos Energy also has crews in Texas and other states standing by in the event they are needed to assist in restoring service. "Atmos Energy and its employees have been there before to help our communities and we will be there for our customers and fellow employees in Louisiana and Mississippi.
