Atmos Energy has granted the underwriters an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 2,100,000 shares at the public offering price to cover overallotments, if any. On October 18, 2004, Atmos Energy also priced a separate public offering of $1.4 billion of senior unsecured notes in four series.
