) today announced that revenue for the second quarter ending June 30, 2001 will be approximately $367 million, a sequential decline of approximately 30 percent versus the first quarter of 2001. Atmel had previously announced that it anticipated revenues declining 10 to 15 percent versus the first quarter of 2001.
