Atlas Pipeline Partners Announces Increased Commitments for Use of Ozark Gas Transmission Pipeline.

TULSA, Okla. -- Ozark Gas Transmission L.L.C. ("Ozark"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. (NYSE: APL) ("the Partnership"), is pleased to announce the results of the recently completed binding open season for firm transportation service, due to the installation and placing in service of the Standing Rock Compressor Station. Ozark received bids for approximately 125,000 dth per day of capacity, and has awarded successful bidders 64,500 dth per day of that capacity. Successful bidders will be paying Ozark's maximum transportation rates and fuel as prescribed in its Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC") gas tariff. Successful bidders are committing to terms that vary from 19 months to 10 years. The effective date of the new transportation service will be January 1, 2009.

Ozark is a FERC-regulated, 565-mile interstate pipeline system that extends from southeastern Oklahoma through Arkansas and into southeastern Missouri and has throughput capacity of approximately 500 million cubic feet per day.
