), is pleased to announce that it has received an order for its halloysite clay from the United States Naval Research Laboratory The United States Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is the corporate research laboratory for the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps and conducts a broad program of scientific research and advanced development.  in Washington, D.C. Following successful preliminary test results on Atlas halloysite samples from the Dragon Mine, Naval researchers have selected the product for additional testing in anti-barnacle paint applications.

Limited halloysite mining is now underway, to be followed by a trial run of an experimental off-site milling process. If the trial milling proves successful, it may preclude the need to raise additional capital for an in-house facility and allow regular production operations to commence quickly at the Dragon Mine.
