) announced today that the Company's contracting activities have increased in recent months with prospects for additional work on line. According to Ron Short, Operations Manager, "Atlas Fausett Contracting has two fairly long term jobs and we are looking at additional work every day. Work here in Idaho has employed 21 miners, and is bringing us about $250,000 per month. We have committed to take on only the jobs for which we know we can provide trained miners and get done safely. With this additional work, manpower and equipment have become crucial, but so far we have been lucky to find quality men and equipment." One of Atlas Fausett Contracting's major jobs is at the famous Sunshine Mine in north Idaho, once a major silver producer in the U.S.

According to president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , William Jacobson, "With the increased activity in the mining industry, driven by higher metals prices, our contracting business has picked up significantly. These are very exciting times for us. The mining sector has suffered here in the U.S. for a number of years due to economic restraints. It is nice to see so much activity in our industry today. This activity opens up the opportunities for not only contracting work, but also different forms of joint ventures that could add tremendous value for our shareholders."
