Atlas Healthcare Inc. (OTC BB:ATHC) announced the creation of Atlas Healthcare of Arizona Inc. for the development and acquisition of healthcare companies geographically located in the Southwest, USA.

Atlas Healthcare of Arizona Inc. is pleased to announce that Tom Griffin, M.D. has accepted the role of its president and chief executive. Dr. Griffin has been a leader in the development of healthcare delivery systems in Arizona and across the nation over the past two decades. Dr. Griffin has previously served as CEO of the largest Medicaid prepaid health plan in Arizona, CEO of a nationally recognized healthcare-consulting firm and as chairman of The IPA Association of America.

These are the first steps in the implementation of Atlas' mission statement to develop financial structures to manage healthcare revenues by providing physicians with integration tools for clinical care, communications and research.
