Atlas Editions Assigns Electronic Rights for Collier's Encyclopedia to Microsoft.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1998--Atlas Editions Inc., the U.S. direct marketing and publishing company, today announced it will assign the electronic content rights of the critically acclaimed Collier's Encyclopedia Collier's Encyclopedia (full title Collier's Encyclopedia with Bibliography and Index) was a U.S.-based general encyclopedia. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Atlas Editions will still retain rights to publish print versions of Collier's Encyclopedia, rated "best of the big sets" by Ken Kister, the encyclopedia analyst.
