Atlas Copco Completes Acquisition of Compressor Rental Business from Aggreko.


STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Regulatory News:

Atlas Copco Atlas Copco is a Swedish industrial company that was founded in 1873. It manufactures industrial tooling and equipment.

The Atlas Copco Group, founded already in 1873, is a global industrial group of companies headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
 (STO:ATCOA)(STO:ATCOB) has as of March 1 finalized the outstanding parts in the acquisition of Aggreko plc's European oil-free air compressor compressor, machine that decreases the volume of air or other gas by the application of pressure. Compressor types range from the simple hand pump and the piston-equipped compressor used to inflate tires to machines that use a rotating, bladed element to achieve  rental business.

The acquired business had revenues in 2008 of about MEUR MEUR Million Euros  10 (MSEK MSEK Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein (New York law firm)

 110) and 21 employees. About half of the assets acquired were consolidated as of November 20, 2008. The acquisition of the remainder has now received approval by all relevant competition authorities.

The acquired business has been integrated into Atlas Copco's Specialty Rental division. The buyers of the fleet assets are various Atlas Copco companies in Europe.
