 segment increased 45.3% year over year, while Military Charter segment hours increased 12.3% and Commercial Charter segment hours rose 48.9%. Within the Scheduled Service business segment, traffic (as measured by revenue ton miles 1. During June, AAWW operated an average of 39.0 widebody 747 aircraft compared with an average of 36.0 in June 2004.

Total block-hour activity for the six months ended June 30, 2005, increased 8.5% versus the six months ended June 30, 2004, while the average number of aircraft operated rose 3.3%.

Block hours operated in the ACMI segment rose 37.0% during the first six months of 2005, while Military Charter segment hours increased 27.5% and Commercial Charter segment hours grew 76.0%.
