Atlas Air Donates Second Relief Flight to Aid Earthquake Victims.

) will donate an all-cargo flight to deliver relief supplies to aid earthquake victims in India and Pakistan.

It is the second flight this month the company has made available to assist with this effort. The 747-200 flight from Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  to New Delhi will carry 113,000 lbs. of supplies.

Operation USA, a Los Angeles based international relief agency, in cooperation with agencies across the U.S. has collected the supplies being transported. The cargo includes medical supplies, plastic sheeting, water purification chemicals, blankets and miscellaneous items such as flashlights and batteries, coloring books and crayons for children confined to relief camps. Originating in Los Angeles at noon pacific time today, the flight will make a stop in Shannon, Ireland where it will pick up the water purification supplies before continuing on to New Delhi.
