Atlas Air, Inc. Largest Cargo Carrier At Miami International; Third Year in a Row Air Cargo Carrier Earns Distinction.

In a recently released report by the Miami Airport Authority, Atlas Air, Inc. (NYSE:CGO) has been ranked number one for the volume of cargo it handled at Miami International Airport in 2000.

This is the third year in a row Atlas Air has held the top spot.

Atlas Air carried 300,756 metric tons of cargo at the Miami airport last year, an increase of almost 28% over 1999 cargo volumes. While overall cargo volumes at the Miami International Airport have been declining for the past two years, Atlas Air and its customer airlines have continued to grow.

Atlas Air is a United States certificated air carrier that operates the world's largest fleet of Boeing 747 freighters under ACMI contracts. These contracts include the provision by Atlas Air of the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance for some of the world's leading international carriers.
