Atlantic-Pacific Capital Hires Ivan Wanat and Promotes John Chase.

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Atlantic-Pacific Capital, the largest independent global placement agent for alternative investment funds and direct private placements, announces the addition of Ivan Wanat as a Director to focus on hedge fund deal management and capital raising. In addition, Atlantic-Pacific Capital is pleased to announce the promotion of senior distribution professional, John K. Chase, to Principal.

Prior to joining Atlantic-Pacific Capital, Mr. Wanat was a Vice President with the Private Fund Group of Credit Suisse where he performed all aspects of capital raising for top-tier hedge fund managers, targeting institutional investors globally. He was responsible for deal management and coordination of all marketing activities for several hedge fund advisors and actively sourced, evaluated and performed due diligence on hedge fund managers seeking a distribution partner. Before joining Credit Suisse's Private Fund Group, Mr. Wanat spent six years as an investment banker for JP Morgan Securities in their Hedge Fund Coverage and Debt Private Placement groups. Mr. Wanat earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at James Madison University and is completing his MBA at NYU's Stern School of Business this summer.

Mr. Chase joined Atlantic-Pacific Capital in September 2005 as a Vice President focused on sales distribution and continues to be instrumental in building and maintaining investor relationships and raising capital for private equity funds and transactions. Before joining Atlantic-Pacific, Mr. Chase was a Vice President with Lazard Asset Management where he raised capital for alternative investments. Prior to capital raising activities, he was a portfolio manager and research analyst specializing in emerging markets and private equity. Mr. Chase served as a board member and advisor to private equity funds active in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Before joining Lazard 10 years ago, Mr. Chase worked as a turnaround management consultant. Mr. Chase received an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MPA from Columbia University and a BA from Saint Anselm College.
