The Company recently announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Atlantic Internet, signed a distribution agreement with South Africa's Accord Technologies (JSE JSE See: Johannesburg Stock Exchange : ACR See riser card. ) to distribute the Accord P-30 wireless hand-held computer to Internet suppliers in North America and to the gaming and wagering industry, worldwide. Richard Iamunno, Atlantic's President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "The hand-held computer will give complete accessability to the Internet from any location, and will cost under $1,000. It is an especially unique product for people interested in interacting with the gaming and wagering industry." The Accord P-30, which will be introduced in the second quarter of 1999 is designed to operate on multifaceted systems such as Microsoft, CE, Java, Windows 95 as well as Microsoft NT. The product will be available in full color or black and white models. Mr. Iamunno added, "The people who wager do not own a desktop PC. The hand-held allows for an inexpensive transaction-based unit that gets away from the traditional desktop PC. We estimate that sales to the gaming industry alone could exceed 10,000 units, or $7 million, in the first year."
