Atlantic's Peter Fine honored at "Heart and Soul" dinner.

 City's leading developers of affordable housing, was the guest of honor at The Educational Alliance's annual black-tie benefit dinner "Heart and Soul" in support of the social service organization's work throughout Downtown Manhattan.

This year's gala was the most successful in the organization's 117-year history, with proceeds topping $1 million, significantly beyond the year's goal.

The event was held at Gotham Hall on 36th Street and Broadway in Manhattan and was attended by more than 600 leading lights in the New York City New York City: see New York, city.

Fine was honored for his work on Project ORE, the organization's thriving homeless outreach project which has served over 3,000 clients to date. He helped launch the initiative twenty years TWENTY YEARS. The lapse of twenty years raises a presumption of certain facts, and after such a time, the party against whom the presumption has been raised, will be required to prove a negative to establish his rights.

Cantor, former managing director of Neuberger Berman Neuberger Berman Inc., through its subsidaries, primarily Neuberger Berman, LLC, is an investment advisory firm founded in 1939 by Roy R. Neuberger and Robert Berman, to manage money for high net worth individuals.  and the immediate past president of The Educational Alliance, who accepted the Leadership Award for his tireless work in guiding this venerable organization to a sound financial and administrative footing.
