Annual Dues: $375 Meeting Schedule: Nine meetings per year, September-May, mostly dinners. Regional Challenges: Declines in membership due to a number of organizations no longer paying their employees' dues. Recent Highlights: The chapter has an annual holiday party for members and spouses. It also has an annual golf outing for members. This fall, a "fall formal" is planned for members, which will be more of a social event. Unique Qualities: The Atlanta Chapter created a chair of Member Retention to work with the New Member Committee and Speaker chair. The idea is to provide more interesting speakers and topics and convert the meetings to a place where members can walk away with a few key things to improve what they do in their ordinary course of business. This can be a number of things, such as cost reduction strategies, revenue enhancement revenue enhancement An increase in revenues, especially by way of increased taxes. Revenue enhancement includes reducing taxpayer deductions and eliminating tax credits. or managing through tough times. The chapter is moving away from having speakers come who are just going through an investor pitch of "Here is my company, here's what we do and why we are great." The new format has been embraced by members and sponsors. The chapter is also actively working with its sponsors to ensure they are receiving value from their sponsorship.
