For more than 100 years, Atlanta Medical Center has served the region's medical needs. As a 460-bed acute care facility, Atlanta Medical Center provides a wide range of services, including a 30-bed level III neonatal unit; a level II trauma center In the United States a Level II trauma center provides emergency medicine to trauma patients. A Level II trauma center works in collaboration with a Level I trauma center.
