ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2001

In the pressure-packed environment of a PR firm with its constant press deadlines and other demanding activities, it is desirable to get a brief mental respite - so how about a relaxing trout stream?

This is the scene that unfolded when William Mills William Mills may refer to:
  • Sir William Mills (inventor of the Mills bomb) (1856-1932), inventor of the Mills bomb.
  • William Arthur Frank 'Billy' Mills (1898-1937), South African racing driver.
  • William Corless Mills (1860-1928), a US museum curator.
Agency Executive Art Director and local artist, Herb Morgan, unveiled his latest sculpture, which was commissioned by the William Mills Agency. The 21-foot long wall sculpture features rainbow trout rainbow trout

Sculptural woodworking has been both a passion and an avocation for Morgan for more than a decade, and he has marketed his whimsical and beautiful works through numerous art studios and shows. Because of the large amount of handcrafting required, he often uses and supervises other artisans to assist in the final sculpture. Morgan's work is branded through "Wooden It Be Lovely" and represents innovation and attention to detail in both art and craft. Examples of his work include: a life-size "Sheriff" with a chest that doubles (you guessed it) as a chest to store CDs, complete with cowboy hat, leather vest and badge, and among his most popular works are custom-designed end table replicas of his clients' pets, complete with wagging tails and/or flapping ears.

Morgan is a 23-year veteran of the William Mills Agency and has been a well-known and popular member of the Atlanta art community for more than three decades. William Mills Jr., founder and chairman of William Mills Agency, said: "Herb has been a valued member of our agency and a friend from before our founding. Several of us are also fans of his 'second career' and enjoy sculpture that he has created for us. My prized piece is a massive pelican in flight with outstretched out·stretch
