Atkin Joins Dain Rauscher Wessels as Telecommunications Analyst.

Jonathan Atkin has joined Dain Rauscher Wessels, a division of Dain Rauscher Incorporated, as an equity research analyst in the firm's office in Menlo Park, Calif. As part of the technology research team, Atkin will focus on broadband telecommunications services companies.

Atkin had been a vice president and research analyst at Ferris Baker Watts in Washington, D.C., covering the broadband telecommunications sector. Earlier, he worked in equity research at Toronto Dominion Securities (USA) and BT Alex. Brown. He also worked in corporate strategy at Daimler-Benz AG and was a policy analyst with the Office of Technology Assessment of the U.S. Congress. Atkin has a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia University.
