Mr. Raza is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Raza Microelectronics Inc. Previously Mr. Raza was President and Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). He became a key member of AMD's top management team after AMD acquired NexGen, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer. While at AMD, Mr. Raza oversaw and guided the company's development and introduction of the very successful K6 and Athlon microprocessor families, as well as communications-related products for ADSL and HomeLAN applications. Prior to NexGen, Mr. Raza spent over twenty years in various management and engineering positions, most notably as Vice President of Technology Centers at VLSI Technology Inc. A highly respected industry veteran with broad industry expertise in engineering and management, Mr. Raza has shared his insight and strategic guidance with several successful private companies, and is a valuable and knowledgeable resource for Validity Sensors' board.
