Wall Street Veteran Brings Nearly Two Decades Executive

Managerial Experience Successful career in finance, strategic

Atipa Linux Solutions, a leading provider of end-to-end Linux solutions, announced today at Comdex the appointment of Jeffrey J. Keenan as the company's new President. Keenan joins Atipa from IESI IESI Integrated Electronic Standby Instrument (Thales Avionics)
IESI Independent Environmental Services Incorporated (Haltom City, TX) 
 Corporation, which he founded in 1995 and where he served as Chairman. Keenan led IESI from a start-up operation to become the 10th largest company in the waste management industry, successfully raising over $140 million of equity capital and integrating over 100 acquisitions in 4 years.

As Atipa's new President, Keenan will apply nearly two decades of experience managing strategic growth as a merchant banker and senior executive to lead Atipa's growth in the Linux industry. Prior to founding IESI, Keenan spent 12 years as a partner in several large private equity funds where he specialized in identifying niche markets and producing profitable growth through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
