He married (1938) Princess Frederika of Brunswick. During Paul's reign Greece followed a pro-Western policy, and the Cyprus question was temporarily resolved. Donaghy is hoping that the region's vets will rally to the cause and make the trip to Hemel Hempstead Hemel Hempstead (hĕm`əl), town (1991 pop. 80,110), Hertfordshire, SE England. Hemel Hempstead was designated one of the new towns in 1946 to alleviate overpopulation in London. It is a market town and London suburb. on Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. , August 10. "We need athletes of all abilities, male and female, to make it a good North East representation," said Donaghy, who has recently stepped into the team manager's role. "We are hoping to put on a subsidised Adj. 1. subsidised - having partial financial support from public funds; "lived in subsidized public housing" subsidized supported - sustained or maintained by aid (as distinct from physical support); "a club entirely supported by membership dues"; bus for the team to travel there and back on the day. "Hopefully, we can put on a good show, and if we do then I would also like to see the annual North East match against the Scottish Vets take off again. "On all accounts it was a very enjoyable competition and I'm I'm Contraction of I am. Our Living Language Speakers of some scattered varieties of American English sometimes use I'm instead of I've or I have in present perfect constructions, as in sure, if we get enough numbers, then it would not take too much to see that competition resurrected again." Anyone interested in competing for the North East Vets at Hemel Hempstead should contact Donaghy on 07970 839 904 as soon as possible so that transport arrangements can be made. |
