"Motion DNA gave today's athletic trainers a glimpse at what sports medicine sports medicine, branch of medicine concerned with physical fitness and with the treatment and prevention of injuries and other disorders related to sports. Knee, leg, back, and shoulder injuries; stiffness and pain in joints; tendinitis; "tennis elbow"; and  is expected to look like in the future," said Bobby Thompson This page is about Bobby Thompson the comedian.  player, was forced to end his career after injuries limited his playing days with the Oakland Raiders. "I joined the Motion DNA team because trainers could have used Motion DNA to help extend my playing career," said Thompson. "My injuries could have been prevented, had they been able to identify what repetitive motion was contributing to them."

Athletic trainers visiting the Motion DNA booth appeared amazed at the accuracy of the technology, viewing and receiving simple analyses being conducted on the spot. Demonstrating the power of its technology, Motion DNA identified the existence of and reasons for physical limitations in the participants. Motion DNA technicians spent their days analyzing posture during individual golf swings; measuring step and posture during walking and running; and identifying potential injuries during strength training exercises and daily activities. Motion DNA technicians also provided examples analyses of individual joint coordination and range of motion testing.

"Motion DNA quickly identified traits in my running that contribute to some pain I have been feeling in my hip," said Terri Hudson of the National Center for Sports Safety. Hudson received an analysis of two, 20 second runs on a treadmill.

"In our opinions, Motion DNA would have to be considered one of the highlights of the convention," said Motion DNA Motion DNA President, Zig Ziegler. "Every athletic trainer we spoke to at the convention agreed that 'they need access to Motion DNA's technology to improve the potential for complete return from injuries' for their athletes."

The convention, as expected allowed Motion DNA to demonstrate its analysis to the programs atop its list of potential customers. Receiving demonstrations of the power and requesting proposals included decision makers from the universities of Connecticut, Alabama, Miami, Mississippi, Arkansas, BYU BYU Brigham Young University

, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, and Auburn, to name a few. Representatives from professional teams in football, basketball, and baseball also expressed interest in the Motion DNA products and services.

"Our goal was to leave the convention closer to our goal of 10 collegiate programs a utilizing our motion analysis services and 100 programs interested in acquiring our BioTrainer for day to day use," said Ziegler. "We surpassed those goals and received some unexpected interest from other companies in the industries."

Motion DNA expects to make several announcements over the next 30 days regarding strategic alliances and new customers as a result of this convention. "We were approached by several major suppliers of athletic training athletic training Sports medicine The practice of physical conditioning and reconditioning of athletes and prevention of injuries incurred by athletes. "We are currently exchanging the proper legal documents, to keep protect the interests of the parties involved. Once that is complete, we expect to identify those potential relationships."

This week, Ziegler and his team of developers return to work on the company's flagship product, the BioTrainer. Ziegler will make trips to Portland and Eugene, Oregon and Seattle, Washington for presentation with professional and collegiate programs in those cities. While in the area, Ziegler has meetings scheduled with the Seattle Seahawks, University of Washington, University of Washington, University of, at Seattle; state supported; coeducational; chartered and opened 1861 as the Territorial Univ. of Washington, renamed 1889.
