Through a point-of-sale campaign, it hoped to bring the excitement of the games to consumers long before the opening ceremonies. The company directed the ad agency to develop a series of cards to be displayed in member banks. The agency was directed to feature dramatic and compelling images of athletes on the cards and, whenever possible, to tie that imagery to the city of Athens and its unique historic significance. The cards were designed to build business, enhance brand image and provide a platform for showcasing Visa products and services. |
