Atex installs a third spunbond line in Italy. (Nonwovens News).


Atex s.r.l, Milano, Italy will install a new multibeam polypropylene polypropylene (pŏl'ēprō`pəlēn), plastic noted for its light weight, being less dense than water; it is a polymer of propylene. It resists moisture, oils, and solvents.  spunbond line in autumn of 2002. The new line, which uses the company's SX6 high Tech equipment, will have a capacity of 12,000 tons per year. This will bring the total installed capacity of the ATEX Group to exceed 25,000 tons per year.
