is a unique feature allowing rapid detection and restoration of the corrupted
or damaged parts of the database such as tablespaces, data files, log files or
control files, without having to restore the entire database, which reduces the
potential downtime.

-- Unique backup-to-disk support: Time Navigator provides backup capabilities
to either an EMC Symmetrix(R) storage system or Tape Library Unit (TLU) for
greater flexibility to the administrator in defining backup policies and the
location of the backup sets.

impact to users and application performance.

-- Support of data recovery via EMC Fastrax off-line restore module in case of
