Atempo Appoints Storage Industry Veteran, Neal Ater, as CEO; New CEO Brings Over 25 Years' Experience to Atempo.

Prior to Storactive, Ater held executive level positions at Veritas, where he was responsible for the engineering and product management of Veritas' data protection businesses, and Seagate Software Seagate Software was an international software corporation headquartered in Scotts Valley, California. It was a majority owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology, the largest independent disc drive and related components company in the world. , where he was responsible for all product development for the Network and Storage Management Group. In addition to Storactive, Ater's entrepreneurial expertise also includes two highly successful startup ventures, Goal Systems International, a leading mainframe systems management company, and OnDemand Software, an industry-leading developer of software distribution products.
