Atchison Indiana Buys RMG.

Atchison Indiana, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Dunton Foundries, L.L.C., in association with Atchison Casting Corp. (ACC), Atchison, Kansas, completed the purchase of RMG Foundry, Mishawaka, Indiana, from Reliance Electric Industrial Co., a subsidiary of Rockwell International Corp. ACC will manage RMG pursuant to a management agreement and has an option to purchase a 50% equity interest in Atchison Indiana, L.L.C. over the next 3 years.

RMG Foundry has been in operation for more than 90 years arid specializes in lower-to-medium volume gray and ductile iron castings. The sale includes a 5-year agreement for the supply of iron castings to Reliance by RMG.

ACC supplies a range of highly engineered iron, steel and non-ferrous castings to the mining, construction, steel, rail, oil and gas, military, agriculture, automotive, power generation and process industries, among others.

Rockwell is a $7-billion electronic controls and communications company in industrial automation, avionics and communications, and electronic commerce, The company employs 40,000 people at more than 450 locations serving customers in more than 80 countries.
