At year's end, thanks to WID's supporters.

As the Women In Defense National Board ends its operational year on March 31, both the board and WID'S member chapters have met or exceeded their goals for the period.

At this time, WID would like to recognize those companies who have helped maintain and sustain the association by encouraging their members to take an active role in the organization.

Major supporters include:

* Booz Allen Hamilton, which sponsors programs and provides leadership at the national and chapter levels. David Aldrich, business leader for Booz Allen's energy and environment team, has encouraged his staff to become active in the organization.

* The Robbins-Gioia consulting firm, which recently hired WID Secretary Marie Danco as a project manager.

* The National Community Pharmacists Association, which employs Lois F. Brand as manager of marketing and sales.

* The Ashlawn Group LLC, whose president, Norma Powell Byron is past president of WID.

* Concurrent Technologies Corporation, which employs me.

CTC'S management--including President and Chief Executive Officer Dan DeVos, Chief Financial Officer Edward Sheehan, General Manager and Treasurer Margaret DiVirgilio and Chief Operating Officer Michael Katz--are active association members, frequently attending WID events.

Thanks also to the WID Board for 2003-2004, including: Vice President Jane Walter, Treasurer Becky Patton, Secretary Marie Danco, HORIZONS Managing Director Lois Brand and Past President Norma Byron. In addition, a special note of thanks to Jane Casey, WID Liaison and Membership Director, National Defense Industrial Association.

Finally, NDIA President Lawrence P. Farrell Jr., Lt. Gen., USAF Ret.), and Vice President for Membership and Chapters James E. McInerney, Maj. Gen., USAF (Ret.), deserve recognition for their support to WID.
