Martin Dwyer Martin Dwyer (born June 28, 1975 in Aintree, Liverpool) is an English Derby winning flat racing jockey having won the 2006 Vodafone Derby upon Sir Percy. This was his second classic success after winning the Epsom Oaks aboard Casual Look in 2003.  was one of three jockeys to ride a double on the opening day of the Cambridgeshire meeting at Newmarket.

Tony Culhane and Kevin Darley were his weighing-room colleagues to also ride two winners apiece on a competitive card.

Dwyer moved on to the 68-winner mark for the year with a 91-1 brace.

He was seen to very good effect on Diktatorial, who emerged as a live candidate for the 2000 Guineas with a resolute victory in the Somerville Tattersall Stakes The Somerville Tattersall Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for two-year-old thoroughbred colts and geldings. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at Newmarket's Rowley Mile course in late September or early October. , and had earlier been on the mark on the Amanda Perrett-trained Tungsten Strike, who earned a tilt at the totesport Cesarewitch after outstaying his rivals in the Unicoin Homes Noel Murless Stakes.
