Kenneth Henyan of Milford Management, co-chair of the Residential Management Council, presented the Management Executive of the Year Award to Ms. Winkler, a former president of Bellmarc Property Management and member of the Residential Management Council. Mr. Henyan noted that in her 28 years in the industry, Ms. Winkler's dedication and commitment have made her an ideal candidate for the honor. "Leslie Bogen Winkler and Sherry Frankel are longtime members who have been influential to the Real Estate Board in many different ways. "Leslie with her many career accomplishments, and Sherry with her tireless dedication to community service, truly are deserving of these awards," said Steven Spinola, president of the Real Estate Board of New York. "The Real Estate Board will continue to recognize and praise the efforts of our dedicated residential managers," added the president. Sherry Frankel of Caran Properties, Inc. received the Community Service Award for her involvement in organizations benefiting the homeless. Presented by Ronni Lynn Arougheti of Heron Ltd., the award recognizes a professional who has made significant efforts to better the community. Ms. Frankel is involved with numerous organizations, particularly Women in Need, a group that assists homeless families and is dedicated to improving the lives of needy women and children.
