At the Movies: Danny's boy becomes a man; December Boys (12A) Radcliffe leaves his wand behind in coming of age tale.Byline: Joe Riley IT'S HARRY Potter - sorry, Daniel Radcliffe - seen in a new light. In a deliberate move away from his schoolboy wizard guise - now the world's best selling film franchise - Radcliffe plays an orphaned teenager, teetering on the brink of manhood in a movie set in the Australian out back during the '60s. Radcliffe certainly has the largest and showiest role of the four young leading cast members. However, as coming of age stories go, this is a rather gentle and breezy affair, with little turmoil or conflict, and most of the dramatic interludes neatly tied up within minutes.
