MAXIMUM PC leads the way in advertising gains for first quarter 1999 among the computer and trade publications tracked by Computer Publishing and Advertising Report, published by Simba Information, Inc.

 reported, "Of the consumer publications, only four posted ad page increases in the quarter, including MAXIMUM PC (Imagine Media) which posted the largest gain at 105.6% to 161 pages. Its ad revenues also led the consumer side of the index, up 192.6% to $2.7 million."
