Astar Electronics Reveals 37-Inch Widescreen LCD HDTV; Company Expands Its Product Line-up with New 37-Inch LCD HD-Ready Television/Monitor.


BALDWIN PARK, Calif. -- Astar Electronics, a division of KXD Technology of Shenzhen, China, announced today the release of its 37" widescreen LCD (Liquid Crystal Diode) HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture.  37LS, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The LTV 37LS is the first of the Astar Large Screen Series of 37" and above flat-screen, high-definition television/monitors with contemporary styling and exceptional quality from the company.

Calderon continued: "The LTV 37LS, with its ATSC Tuner, built-in 10 W + 10 W bottom-mounted speakers and prominent large-screen display is home theater perfection. It is the ultimate computer monitor, allowing users to answer e-mails on their computer or enjoy a favorite TV program. The LTV 37LS proves that bigger is better when it comes to your home entertainment needs."

Highlights of the Astar LTV 37LS include an ATSC Tuner, a viewing angle of 170 H/170 V, allowing for viewing from virtually anywhere in a room and a resolution of 1366 x 768. It also has display capabilities of 480i, 480p, 720i and 1080i, 216 Channel CATV (Community Antenna TV) The original name for cable TV.
