Assurity Life Launches iGO e-App with iPipeline's Velocity Platform.

Leading Carrier Provides Go/No-Go Capability to Distribution Channel for e-App Submission

EXTON, Pa. -- iPipeline[TM], the leader in on-demand software that supports marketing, selling, and processing solutions for the nation's top insurance carriers, distributors, and producers, today announced Assurity Life Insurance Company went live in July with Go/No-Go capabilities for the submission of iGO e-App(TM). The Go/No-Go capability enables an electronic insurance application to be routed within an independent sales channel through a distributor, general agency, or office of supervisory jurisdiction (OSJ) in a broker-dealer. iPipeline's iGO e-App is the industry's leading intelligent, rules-based, e-Application that provides carriers, distributors, and their agents with unique selling and straight-through processing advantages including e-Signature and e-Submission.

"Our Go/No-Go feature is unique to iGO e-App. Each agent application is automatically routed to the case manager or other designee within the independent sales channel to ensure everything within the application is in Good Order. The important factor here is the distributor maintains control with the workflow over the e-app submission," said Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipeline. "With Go/No-Go, these gatekeepers are given the ability to view, approve, or decline an application prior to its release to a carrier. Approved cases are routed to the carrier for accelerated processing, while declined cases are routed back to the agent for updates or modifications. When used with e-Signature and e-Submission, the outcome is rapid policy issuance and increased placement ratios for the carrier, and faster processing and payment for participating BGAs and their agents."

"Assurity Life has long understood the advantages of providing its highly competitive products to the independent agent. Our integration of iPipeline's Go/No-Go feature within iGO e-App underscores our commitment to work closely with the distribution channel," said Pat Criger, Director of New Business Services, Assurity Life Insurance Company. "The Go/No-Go feature of iGO e-App with e-Signature and e-Submission is currently available for Assurity Life's Term Life and Simplified Products including: Whole Life, Disability Income, Critical Illness, and Accident. Our goal is to drive productivity, reduce processing time, and get our agents paid faster. We are also pleased that we have improved the consumer experience by eliminating delays and unnecessary paperwork."
