DAVID HAYE Boxing career
David Haye aka "Hayemaker" was born 13 October 1980 and is a British boxer who fights in the Cruiserweight division.

Based in Bermondsey, England, Haye started out as an amateur winning a silver medal in the heavyweight division at the 2001 World
 insists he is ready to make history tomorrow night by becoming the first British cruiserweight cruis·er·weight

"I've got an opportunity to go out there and equal what he did by becoming the second to do it."

 title before unifying the belts with a spectacular secondround stoppage of domestic rival Enzo Maccarinelli in March last year.

Since then he has boxed only once, stopping faded former contender Barrett in five rounds in London last November.

Haye's trainer, Adam Booth, added: "It's a psychological test, a physical test, a technical test, and that's what we buzz off."
