2 Michele Coleman Hayes has been elected to Assurant's board of directors. She will also serve on the board's nominating and corporate governance committee as well as its compensation committee. Mayes brings extensive legal expertise, particularly in issues related to corporate governance She is currently senior vice president and general counsel at Pitney Bowes.
