AssuranceAmerica Corporation Selected by Atlanta Journal-Constitution to Top 100 'Georgia's Best in Business' and 10th Highest in Return on Equity.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta based AssuranceAmerica Corporation (OTCBB:ASAM) today announced its selection to "Georgia's Best in Business" list. For the twelfth year in a row, PriceWaterhouseCoopers analysts have ranked Georgia's publicly held companies for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution to determine a list of "Georgia's Best" 100. Size alone does not determine ranking although some very large companies like AFLAC, UPS, Home Depot and Crawford & Co. made the list - all of which were ranked below AssuranceAmerica's overall ranking of 31st best in Georgia. Only nine companies exceeded AssuranceAmerica's tenth place listing for return on equity of 34.43%.

Five variables determine whether a company made the top 100. They are (1) revenue, (2) year-over-year revenue change, (3) annual change in profit, (4) return on equity, and (5) change in stock price.
